Peaks and Valleys

Inevitably, life is filled with peaks and valleys. But even in the valleys, there will always be something working really well in your life; and even on the mountain peaks, everything will not be perfect. Life is a mixture of good and bad. Whether you choose to count your blessings or choose to complain, it’s helpful to understand that you have a choice.

I dropped off my car for service this morning and I had a couple of copies of The 4:8 Principle sitting on the driver side seat. The technician immediately spotted the book and exclaimed “That Smiley Face Book Is Everywhere” It didn’t click for 10 minutes or so that I actually wrote the book. He had received his first copy from another customer the week before after already buying a copy for himself on Amazon.

Life can be dramatically different when you focus on your blessings instead of your shortcomings. In fact, the world has a brighter color when you think and talk about the aspects of your life that are working instead of the areas that are frustrating you.
