“That Smiley Face Book Is Everywhere!”

I dropped off my car for service this morning and I had a couple of copies of The 4:8 Principle sitting on the driver side seat. The technician immediately spotted the book and exclaimed “That Smiley Face Book Is Everywhere” It didn’t click for 10 minutes or so that I actually wrote the book. He had received his first copy from another customer the week before after already buying a copy for himself on Amazon.

Life can be dramatically different when you focus on your blessings instead of your shortcomings. In fact, the world has a brighter color when you think and talk about the aspects of your life that are working instead of the areas that are frustrating you.

Even better, you draw out the best in your spouse and in your kids when you dwell on and talk about strengths versus weakness. Weakness and negativity will always exist. But what will you choose to give your attention to? Your attention is steered to a large degree by the people you hang out with the most.

Give this some thought…Who are the people in your life who are most encouraging and positive? The 4:8 Principle is about seeing the good in all things, even when it’s hard to do so. Thanks to recent readers and the newest members of The 4:8 Movement, last Friday, The 4:8 Principle hit #4 in The Wall Street Journal Non-Fiction Bestseller List. An emailer recently summed up their thoughts on the book. “The 4:8 Principle is simple, relevant, biblical, and powerful!”What do you think?
