This movement is launching individuals, couples and families into The JOY ZONE. Due to rapid and widespread referrals throughout the web and old fashioned, face to face recommendations, The 4:8 Principle will hit #3 on The New York Times Bestseller List (Hardcover Advice) on September 30th, in only its first month of publication.

The joy zone is where you automatically focus on strengths, blessings and victories…not just in your own life, but in the people, circumstances and situations that surround you. As you know, it is far easier to complain, whine and point out injustice than it is to seek out the positives in our lives and then build upon them.
I wrote The 4:8 Principle to help you improve the one thing over which you have complete control. When you seize control of this one thing, you start to enjoy life as it was meant to be. I am especially passionate about the biblical roots of The 4:8 Principle. When I get advice, I want to make sure it is grounded in the rock-solid truth of scripture. How about you?
Have you been seeking answers and solutions to the challenges of modern living, but felt a bit uneasy about the source of the advice? Lots of my readers have told me they found themselves in this spot. If so, then I wrote this book with you in mind.
It is incredibly exciting to me personally that a book that honors God and teaches the REAL SECRET can make such a splash in the general bookseller’s marketplace. Thanks to you, this has happened and is continuing today. When you, your family, and your friends practice The 4:8 Principle, great things can happen! Please help spread the word!
If you are an entrepreneur, business leader, mom, dad or student, you can benefit from the life-changing power of The 4:8 Principle today.
Your Joy Blesses Others!

Inevitably, life is filled with peaks and valleys. But even in the valleys, there will always be something working really well in your life; and even on the mountain peaks, everything will not be perfect. Life is a mixture of good and bad. Whether you choose to count your blessings or choose to complain, it’s helpful to understand that you have a choice.

In what ways would you be justified to complain? In what ways would you be justified to demonstrate gratitude?

I dropped off my car for service this morning and I had a couple of copies of The 4:8 Principle sitting on the driver side seat. The technician immediately spotted the book and exclaimed “That Smiley Face Book Is Everywhere” It didn’t click for 10 minutes or so that I actually wrote the book. He had received his first copy from another customer the week before after already buying a copy for himself on Amazon.

Life can be dramatically different when you focus on your blessings instead of your shortcomings. In fact, the world has a brighter color when you think and talk about the aspects of your life that are working instead of the areas that are frustrating you.

Even better, you draw out the best in your spouse and in your kids when you dwell on and talk about strengths versus weakness. Weakness and negativity will always exist. But what will you choose to give your attention to? Your attention is steered to a large degree by the people you hang out with the most.

Give this some thought…Who are the people in your life who are most encouraging and positive? The 4:8 Principle is about seeing the good in all things, even when it’s hard to do so. Thanks to recent readers and the newest members of The 4:8 Movement, last Friday, The 4:8 Principle hit #4 in The Wall Street Journal Non-Fiction Bestseller List. An emailer recently summed up their thoughts on the book. “The 4:8 Principle is simple, relevant, biblical, and powerful!”What do you think?
